Mizoram House to discuss annual budget
An 11-day assembly session of the state assembly began in Aizwal to deliberate on the state annual budget for 2004-05.
Mizoram's acting Chief Minister Tawnluia on Monday initiated the process of seeking formal approval of the current year's budget, inclusive of the annual plan and the first supplementary demands for the current year.

According to the report of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), the session would continue till November 24 while the actual sitting would be of 11 days.
In his budget statement, Tawnluia said that vote-on-account for eight months were already obtained due to non-finalisation of the state annual plan outlay by the Planning Commission.
The annual plan size was finalised at Rs 616.52 crore by the Planning Commission, he said.
