A mob set ablaze a private bus for fatally knocking down a motorcyclist at Paravattani near Thrissur.
The protesters surrounded the bus and shattered its glasspanes and then asked the passengers to get down before they doused the vehicle with petrol and torched it last night, police said.
The local people complained that the mishap was caused by reckless driving and fierce competition among private buses.
