Vikrant, a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested yesterday and police have recovered a loaded pistol from his possession.

Vikrant is an accused in the murder of model Pawan Batra, whom the former considered as a competitor to him, police said.

He is also accused of looting Rs six lakh from the van of Canara Bank in Muzaffarnagar. Vikrant is also an accused in at least two other murder cases.
