Echoing Pakistan's line, moderate Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq on Thursday urged the visiting US President George W Bush to prevail upon India and Pakistan to demilitarise entire Jammu and Kashmir region in order to resolve the issue.

"This august gathering today resolves unanimously that United States President prevail upon the governments of India and Pakistan to demilitarise entire Jammu and Kashmir region," a resolution passed at a seminar held at Hurriyat headquarters said on Thursday.
