An earthquake of moderate intensity rocked parts of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday but there was no report of any injury to people or damage to property.

The quake, measuring 5 on the Richter scale, occurred at 19.19 hours with its epicentre at Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal border, the local MeT office said.

However, there was no report of any casualty or damage to property so far due to the quake, the Met officials added.
