Two rallies will be held on the day at Gondia in east Vidarbha and Pimpalgaon in Dindori Lok Sabha constituencies in North Maharashtra as part of “parivartan abhiyan”, party General Secretary Vinod Tawde said in Mumbai.

Similar rallies are being planned in different parts of the state which will be addressed by Modi, state BJP chief Nitin Gadkari and party leader Gopinath Munde, he said.

Recently, the leaders had gone to Gandhinagar to discuss the prevailing political scenario in the state with Modi, who is the in-charge of the state.

To a question on whether Shiv Sena-NCP ties figured in the talks, Tawde said all ground level political developments were discussed.

Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray has already clarified on the issue and BJP has nothing more to say, he said.
