Inveterate fans would relive in these images the artistry and guile of each of these legends. There is Rahul's rasping square drive, Kirmani's leaping take behind the stumps, Vishwanath's wristy square cut, Chandrashekar's googly, Srinath's express action, and Kumble's legspin.

The mega work of art will be unwrapped on May 7 at a felicitation for the Indian skipper and his senior Anil Kumble. Measuring 600 sq feet, the mural would be installed outside the main entrance of the cricket pavilion.

Dravid's labour of love took more than six months to craft. She says her "permanent tribute will last for centuries and help fans remember the talent of these cricketers. My intention was to depict in action the trademark of each of these cricketers."
