Monica Bedi's remand extended till March 13

She is facing charges of securing a passport in 2001 under a fictitious name from Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

A special CBI court has extended the judicial remand of Monica Bedi till March 13.

The remand was extended on Monday by the judge CV Subramanyam.

Bedi is currently lodged in Chanchalguda jail in connection with a fake passport case.

She is facing charges of securing a passport in 2001 under a fictitious name from Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

High Court had rejected Bedi's bail petition on March 3. Earlier, a lower court had also rejected the bail twice.
