The southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and active in Assa and Meghalaya, the met office said on Wednesday.

The southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and active in Assa and Meghalaya, the met office said on Wednesday.

However, it has been subdued over Punjab, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch and Rayalaseema, it said in Pune.
