The Millennium City is hosting an adrenaline-pumping event for bike enthusiasts with some 700 bikers, stirring up the dust while showing gravity defying stunts.
The annual two-day 'Rider Mania' show of Royal Enfield bikers, kicked off on Saturday at a resort, five kilometres off Manesar on the Jaipur highway. The event is being organised by the Delhi chapter of the Royal Beasts Motorcycling Society that was started in 2003 by two Delhi-based bikers.
The daredevil riders who will showcase their biking skills include men and women from all age groups.
"Both young and old bikers from 12 motorcycling clubs will let loose in showing their skills on the dirt track," the organisers said.
Subhash Bose, 62, the oldest participant from Chennai, said he has been taking part in the event since 2003, while some of them are new entrants.
"It's a different experience. I joined the group only five years back but I wish I had come earlier," said a 40-year-old participant from Delhi, Rajan Kakkar.
While Kakkar is planning to train his 12-year-old daughter, several others become 'friends forever' with fellow bikers.
Arun and Pooja said they came close through such events and decided to marry.
"Biking is our passion and it got us both together in life too," Pooja said
