MP: Minor sexually exploited by brother attempts suicide

A minor girl at Gohad in Bhind district has accused her brother of sexually exploiting her for the past one month. The victim consumed poison on Wednesday and has been admitted to Gohad community health centre in critical condition.

According to police, the 15-year-old girl said in her statement that she was being raped by her brother for the past one month.

She complained to her parents but they did not pay heed to her. The victim became sick of sexual exploitation and consumed poison.

Police have registered a rape case against the accused on the basis of the girl's statement and launched a search for her absconding brother.
