Mukherjee is new CUHP registrar

Dr Gautam Mukherjee, a retired Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer, has joined as the new registrar of Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Dr Mukherjee, a management and law graduate and PhD in Labour Welfare Administration, assumed the office at CUHP camp office here on Tuesday.

Dr Mukherjee, a management and law graduate and PhD in Labour Welfare Administration, assumed the office at CUHP camp office here on Tuesday.

He has 35 years of administrative experience behind him and had held various important positions in the Rajasthan government. He had also served as registrar of three state universities of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaipur for considerable time.

Before joining CUHP, he superannuated from the post of joint secretary (cabinet and civil aviation), Rajasthan government.
