Mulayam flays Lalu for Muzaffarnagar visit

Emphasising the Uttar Pradesh government has taken adequate relief measures, Yadav, said, "The state government had provided enough relief to the victims. No government in other states could have done as well."

Dubbing Prasad a "sycophant" for his praise of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Yadav said the RJD leader was "licking the feet of Congress". Earlier, the SP chief had targeted Gandhi for his visit to Muzaffarnagar as well.

Referring to the problems of Muslims, Yadav said while the Congress has always politically exploited the community, the BJP frightened it. The BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi could help in increasing his party’s tally, but he would not be able to become the prime minister.

Asserting that neither the Congress nor the BJP would have enough numbers to form the next government at the Centre, Yadav said this was where the Third Front would step in. And the Front would emerge stronger after the polls.
