Mulayam refrains from commenting on Amar's resignation

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav refrained from commenting on party leader Amar Singh's resignation from all posts, saying he had not received any direct communication and will speak in a couple of days after "ascertaining all the facts".

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday refrained from commenting on party leader Amar Singh's resignation from all posts, saying he had not received any direct communication and will speak in a couple of days after "ascertaining all the facts".

"Whatever news in this regard we have received is from TV news channels," Yadav told PTI when asked to comment on Singh's announcement that he had quit as General Secretary, spokesperson and member of the party's Parliamentary Board.

The SP chief said there was no direct communication from Singh to the party high command or the state headquarters.

Yadav said he would speak in details about the entire episode after ascertaining all the facts.
