Mumbai finally gets a Sabyasachi store

After Kolkatta and New Delhi, Mumbai finally gets ready to embrace a Sabyasachi Mukherjee flagship store- Sabyasachi.

The wait is finally over! Fashion mogul Sabyasachi Mukherjee has finally launched his flagship store Sabyasachi in Mumbai yesterday. After Kolkatta and New Delhi, Mumbai is the third city to embrace the Sabyasachi creations, vogue reported.

His muse, Rani Mukherjee celebrated the opening of his third store with him.

As the violinist played Sabyasachi’s favourite song- La Via Rose, he personally guided his guests through his latest creation at the store.

His guests were treated to rose-sherbet and roasted almonds as they looked through his garments. The walls adorned by numerous pictures garnered a lot of attention.

Apart from women’s wear, the store offers a wide range of bridal and trousseau, fine jewelery, footwear and also men’s wear. It also offers personal styling and private appointment with the design studio for custom orders.

Known for his avant-garde designs, Sabyasachi is generally inspired by old school glamour, travel and everything beautiful. His store definitely embodies his taste and vision.

The opening of the store also witnessed the launch of Save a Saree initiative. It emphasizes the importance of innovative and sustainable designs. The idea is to revive hand-weaving and translate craft into popular culture.
