The Mumbai Indians beat the Deccan Chargers by 63 runs to seal their semifinal berth and also their top position in the tally at the Brabourne stadium.

Mumbai Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and chose to bat in their Indian Premier League match against Deccan Chargers at the Brabourne Stadium here today.

Mumbai Indians retained the team that won their previous match against Kings XI Punjab.

Deccan Chargers made three changes in the side that lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous tie, bringing in Ryan Harris, V V S Laxman and Rahul Sharma for Kemar Roach, Venugopal Rao and Harmeet Singh.

The Teams:

Mumbai Indians: Sachin Tendulkar (capt), Ambati Rayudu (wk), Dwayne Bravo, Habhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, R Satish, Ryan McLaren, Saurabh Tiwary, Shikhar Dhawan and Zaheer Khan.

Deccan Chargers: Adam Gilchrist (capt), V V S Laxman, Andrew Symonds, Herschelle Gibbs, Jaskaran Singh, Ryan Harris, Monish Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Rohit Sharma, Rahul Sharma and T Suman.
