With reference to Samar Halarnkar’s article We are all Shah Rukh (Maha Bharat, February 4), the Shiv Sena has gone too far and too wrong on the issue of migration of north Indians into Maharashtra. Thanks to the Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, being an Indian in India has become tantamount to crime. It seems the fine line between patriotism and state chauvinism has been breached by both the Shiv Sena and the MNS. Such atrocities must be dealt with firmly before these unreasonable elements take our cities and our lives to ransom. It’s time for the Mumbaikars to uphold their dignity and push the government to act against the divisive agenda of the Senas.
