BJP General Secretary Gopinath Munde was on Monday detained at the Mumbai airport from where he was scheduled to take a private airlines flight to Kolhapur.
Munde was scheduled to visit Sangli later today where he was to address a meeting in connection with a recent riot at Miraj in the district, party sources said.
