With this the Inderlok murder case has taken a new twist with police investigating as to how somebody managed to poison or drug the entire family. Sources said, in order to confirm the type of poison or the drug used to immobilize the family, police have rushed the viscera samples of the deceased to the Forensic Science Laboratory with a request to test them on priority.

Sources also confirmed that the forensic experts have told the police that there were no marks of struggle present on the bodies of the deceased suggesting that the family members were in a drugged condition when they were murdered.

The forensic experts have also helped police in ascertaining the time of death which they place at around 3 a.m. as it was discovered from the autopsies that the stomach content in all the cases was totally digested.

Police is mystified and is trying to find out as to why the killers cut the bra and undergarments of the female members.

Sources said, while all other efforts were made by the killers to set the house on fire and cause explosion, the plot got foiled as the cardboards placed on the bodies of husband and wife did not properly catch fire. The killers had picked up the cooking gas cylinder from the first floor and placed near the bodies of husband and wife, which they had tried to set on fire.

The seven members of Om Prakash's family were found murdered on Tuesday morning at his D block Inderlok residence in the capital.

Om Prakash was murdered along with his wife Santosh, four daughters - Dolly, Pooja, Kavita and Manju and son Anuj.

So far police has ruled out robbery as the motive behind the murders and believe that revenge could be a probable cause and are investigating into this angle.
