Nargis murder: police mull Narco test on husband’s aide

The city police are planning to conduct a narco-analysis or brain mapping test on a woman associate of the victim’s husband who has been accused of killing his wife six months ago.

The city police are planning to conduct a narco-analysis or brain mapping test on a woman associate of the victim’s husband who has been accused of killing his wife six months ago.

The police have already filed chargecheet against the prime accused, Rakesh Juneja, for plotting the murder of Nargis Juneja, the director of a playschcool who was found dead on December 1 at the couple’s DLF City Phase-2 home.

The chargesheet was filed on the basis of Rakesh's brain mapping test. The test was conducted in Ahmedabad last month. Police said they can also take Rakesh, who has been languishing in Gurgaon jail, back on remand for further questioning.

“The lie detector test of Rakesh’s associate will be conducted in Madhuban (Karnal) while the narco test will be done in Ahamdabad. We are just waiting for their permission to conduct these test,” said a senior police official.

According to police, Rakesh, a garment factory owner, was having an affair with one of his associates and Nargis used to pick fights with him over the issue. The 43-year-old director of Kidzee play school was murdered by the two killers after they held her domestic help hostage. Nargis's body was spotted by her 19-year-old daughter.
