The ship, which has a crew of three officers and 39 sailors, will add edge to Indian Navy in combating low intensity conflicts and anti-piracy operations.
With a top speed of over 35 knots and maneuverability offered by her water-jet propulsion, INS Kabra is ideally suited for high-speed interdiction of fast-moving targets and useful in search and rescue operations.
