A selft-styled Sub-Zonal commander of banned CPI (Maoists) was on Saturday arrested from Jhingla forests under Belhar police station in Bihar's Banka district, police said.

Police arrested Panchu Khaira, sub-zonal commander of the ultra-left outfit, from the jungles during combing operation, they said.

He was wanted in connection with several operations carried out by the naxalites in Bihar and Jharkhand, the police added.
