Pacer Nazmul Hossain on Monday made his debut in the Bangladesh squad for the second cricket Test against India beginning at Chittagong starting on Friday.

With this, the number of players in the squad has gone up to 14 as none of the existing 13 players have been affected.
Bangladesh on Monday lost the first Test against India here by an innings and 140 runs.
Though Nazmul is yet to play a Test, he has played four one-dayers and ripped through the New Zealand upper order during a match in Chittagong earlier this year, taking four for 40 runs. These are the only wickets in his tally.
Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar has said a third pacer would have been more productive for the team and this is likely to happen at Chittagong.
Chief selector Faruque Ahmed said: "We have to keep in mind that Bangladesh will also play a one-dayer in Chittagong. We selected the team accordingly."
Discarded batsman Alok Kapali did not find favour with the selectors though he has had a good run in the premier league.
The Bangladesh squad: Habibul Bashar (captain), Khaled Mashud (vice capitain), Nafis Iqbal, Javed Omar, Mohammad Ashraful, Rajin Saleh, Aftab Ahmed, Mushfiqur Rahman, Mohammad Rafique, Tapash Baisya, Mashrafe Mortaza, Talha Jubair, Manjural Islam Rana and Nazmul Hossain
