THE INVESTITURE ceremony of the new cabinet of Little Angel’s Convent Higher Secondary School was held on Tuesday on school premises.
The students who took the oath of the office were: Harmeet Singh as president, Ditiya Agarwal as Head Girl, Mohsina Khan as secretary, Himanshi Jain as vice-president, Nazia Khan as secretary, and Arun Pillai, Priyank Jain, Savita Sharma and Sana Khan as joint secretaries.
Besides, the class monitors were also appointment. On the occasion, vice-principal Sandeep Gupta explained to the students the meaning and definition of democracy and also told them how the governments were formed in the country and the members of the legislature assembly elected. The students are selected on the basis of their performance in the field of education, sports, and discipline.
School principal Bramesh Gupta presented the sash badges to the students and congratulated them. The programme was conducted by Sandeep Gupta who extended his wishes to the elected members.
