New Chief Secy in Pondicherry takes over

Mr Pradeep Mehara on Friday assumed office as the new Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Pondicherry.

Mr Pradeep Mehara today assumed office as the new Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Pondicherry.

He succeeds C S Khairwal, who retired from service yesterday.

However, Mr Khairwal would continue to be the Chairman of the State Information Commission, offical sources said.
