The toll for owners of personal cars, light motor vehicles (LMVs) and mini buses will rise by Rs. 1-2. The increase in the toll rates for other heavy category vehicles has been in the range of Rs. 2 - Rs. 4.

So, the private car owners, crossing the Delhi border toll plaza and the IGI toll plaza, will now have to pay Rs. 18 and Rs. 12 in place of Rs. 17 and 11 respectively. But the toll rates for 42nd Milestone toll plaza has risen by Rs. 2 — from Rs. 21 to Rs. 23 — for private cars.

There would, however, be no charges for two-wheelers anywhere on the expressway stretch between Rao Tula Ram Marg (New Delhi) and 42nd Milestone (Gurgaon).

The use of smart tags has reduced the waiting time at the toll plazas significantly.
