The National Investigation Agency (NIA) detained one Saddam Hussain on Friday in connection with the serial bomb blasts on October 27.
The detained youth is the son of a senior statistical department officer. He was picked up from his house located on Kunkun Singh Lane under Pirbahore police station. NIA officials are questioning him.
Police said, one of the blasts accused Imitiaz Ansari had revealed that he had stayed in the house of Hussain from October 6 to 9 to conduct a recce of Gandhi Maidan. "Ansari is said to be a friend of Hussein's son," said a police official who did not wish to be named.
