Nine persons were killed and five others were injured when a Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus and a jeep collided near Rajkot on Tuesday morning, police said.
The mishap took place when the GSRTC bus going from Bhuj to Mahua collided head-on with a jeep coming from opposite direction on the Rajkot-Tankara road, about 35 kms from Rajkot.

The injured have been admitted to Rajkot civil hospital, police added.
