Nine of a marriage party killed as jeep falls into gorge in HP
Nine members of a marriage party were killed and five others injured when a jeep, in which they were travelling, fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district on Saturday.

Nine members of a marriage party were killed and five others injured when a jeep, in which they were travelling, fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district on Saturday.
The marriage party was returning from Teel village of Kullu when the vehicle fell into a 500 metre deep gorge near Soja village, Sub-Divisional Magistrate P R Verma told PTI.
So far nine bodies were recovered by the rescue team while searches were on for two missing persons, he said.
Five injured have been referred to zonal hospital, Kullu and Banzar.
The SDM, who visited the site, said that the driver of the vehicle received injuries in the accident.
Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh expressed grief over the mishap.
