"In the wake of the defeat of the TDP in Andhra Pradesh, we do not foresee any impact on the IT industry. Naidu has done an excellent job of developing AP and Hyderabad in particular as an attractive IT destination", Nasscom President Kiran Karnik said in a statement.

"We are certain the new Government in AP will continue strong promotion of the IT industry", he said.

Naidu has helped to create an enabling environment for the industry to flourish in India and has endeavoured to put IT to use for providing better quality of governance, he said.

"In our experience of working with different states, irrespective of the political party in power, we have always received strong support and seen enthusiasm to promote IT and hope we will continue to receive the same support in future from all parties," Karnik said.
