No burkha for gutsy Ash

Ash didn't need to don a burkha when she came to visit her boyfriend Vivek after he met with an accident.

Must say, Aishwarya Rai is more gutsy than her current beau, Vivek Oberoi. The actress never tried to keep under wraps her recent visit to India from London where she was and shooting for Gurinder Chadha’s Bride and Prejudice, only to visit boyfriend Vivek who had been operated for a fracture in his leg.

She didn’t retreat even when the crews of various satellite channels captured her on their cameras. On the other hand, Vivek is far more shy than his girlfriend.

A unit hand of Rajkumar Santoshi’s Khakee reveals that Vivek used to come clad in a burkha and sneak into the hotel where Ash was staying while shooting for the film in Pune about three to four months back. He used to take off the burkha only after reaching Ash’s room.
