It's all words, no walk for desi celebs. While there was much hype that actor Gul Panag, designers Sanjana Jon Niket Mishra, Nafisa Ali, will join the Delhi SlutWalk arthaat Besharmi Morcha 2011, only Socialite and actor Nafisa Ali stood by her word. Being the only well-known face at the event, she was instantly hounded by the media for bytes. Though visibly upset with the attention, she maintained her calm and urged the society to 'respect women'.
As the walk began, "Where's Gul?", was the question that was on everyone's mind. The actress, who had publicly supported SlutWalk on Twitter and even professed her intention to join the walk, was conspicuously absent.
But as the event progressed, the enthusiastic public couldn't care less about the lack of celeb support. There were hundreds of people, interesting street plays, an engaging performance by the Delhi Drum Circle to enthrall the participants.

As for celebs, we all know, it's easy to 'like' and hit the 'attend' button on Facebook, than actually brave the heat and walk the streets with the common man.
