The Indian Cricket Board on Sunday dismissed suggestions of a crisis in the national team following the reported spat between captain Sourav Ganguly and coach Greg Chappell.
"There is no question of any crisis," BCCI President Ranbir Singh Mahendra told BBC Hindi, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
However, he said the Board would look into the entire episode once the Indian team's tour of Zimbabwe ended.
"The second Test is starting on Tuesday and once the tour ends, the Board will discuss and take remedial action," he said.
Ganguly raised a storm when he claimed that he had been asked to step down as captain on the eve of the first Test against Zimbabwe. Although, he did not say as much, it is believed it was coach Chappell who asked him to make way.
Mahendra also said that the recent performance of the team would be reviewed at a meeting on September 27.
"There will be a thorough review of the recent performances after this tour is over," he said.
