"Conceiving of a Third Front-led government is certain; whether it is a boy, a girl, twins or triplets would be clear after the results are declared," party politburo leader Sitaram Yechuri told a press conference in Jaipur.

"I am sure it would not be a still birth nor any abortion," he claimed.

Criticising Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani's statement that the Opposition had no prime ministerial candidate, Yechuri said there was no dearth of leaders to support an alternative government to the NDA.

In every democracy, public representatives elect the leader, and we would do the same after the poll outcome and alliance formation is clear, he claimed.

"Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee lost Lok Sabha polls six times, including two occasions when even his deposit was forfeited. The late Prime Minster Indira Gandhi had also lost polls, so the projection of prime ministerial candidate was not a healthy trend in democracy," he said.

The exit poll findings could be anything, but the NDA would lose heavily in West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab this time, he said.
