But more shocking fact is that authorities have no plans to build any amenities for the public.

In an RTI (right to information) reply, the office of executive engineer SK Gupta, Huda division VI, wrote: “There is no plan for providing civic amenities like public toilet and bus stop. There are no plans for development of social and cultural centres on Sohna Road.”

The RTI reply was sent to Raman Sharma, a resident of Malibu Towne, Sohna Road. “More than 20,000 dwelling units provide accommodation to around one lakh people on this road and the development agency has collected crores of rupees for the development of area by accepting extra development charges and internal development charges from the builders. Where has the money been spent?” asks Sharma.
