Legendary British Rock band Pink Floyd have left their fans nursing broken hearts by denying reports that they are on the verge of a reunion.

The band's performance at the Live8 charity concert in London had left fans hoping that they would see their idols together once again but former band members David Gilmour, Roger Walters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright, in a joint statement, denied that the group had any plans to reform.

"Nick, Richard, Roger and I are telling fans directly that this is not happening," Contactmusic quoted Gilmour, as stating.
