Residents are running from pillar to post to get things in order, but in vain.

Talking about it, SK Sanga, president of residents’ welfare association, Sector 56 said, “Lack of streetlights is the main problem in the area. Though residents are facing the problem of water scarcity, and poor power supply, inadequate streetlights is giving sleepless nights to them.”

He added, “We have approached the administration many times to mend the roads and install streetlight, but to no effect.”

Expressing similar views, YK Srivastava, senior vice-president of Sector 56 residents’ welfare association (RWA) said, “Things need to be improved. We live in the heart of the city. If things do not improve here, what facilities the administration would provide to residents living on the outskirts of the city.”
