Decision on seven seats—Khanpur, Jhalrapatan, Raisinghnagar, Jaisalmer, Shiv, Johari Bazaar and Barmer—is expected on Tuesday. MLAs who do not figure in the first list include Sahadev Sharma (Amer), Naval Kishore Sharma (Jaipur rural), Paras Ram Maderna (Bhopalgarh), Chandanmal Vaid (Taragarh), Shanti Pahariya (Weir), Kamala Meena (Sapotra), Nanagram Jagatrai (Ajmer west), K C Chaudhary (Beawar.
Madhu Dadich (Nimbaheda), Hemant Yadav (Dogod), Chandrashekhar (Khairtal), Rajendra Singh Ganduri (Lachmangarh), Abdul Aziz (Makarana), Harchand Singh (Pilibanga), Ratnaram Chaudhary (Raniwada), Ashok Tanwar (Phagi), Aad Ram Meghwal (Desuri), Lala Ram Garasi (Pindwara) and Devi Lal (Shahpura). Salumber MLA Roop Lal had died a few months back.
Of the remaining seats Shiv and Jaisalmer are struck because the minority community is claiming both the seats. Johari Bazaar is undecided because the party has failed to find a suitable candidate from the community.
