Addressing a press conference Yadav said there was no communication gap with the RLD chief Chaudhury Ajit Singh and even SP leader Amar Singh was always in touch with him. Yadav did not see any reason about the unhappiness of Ajit Singh with him.

The chief minister said the Congress was angry with him and now Ajit Singh had also gone the same way. “I don’t know what happened to Ajit Singh”, Yadav quipped. Yadav said even now he had no reservation in meeting him. Yadav said there was no deadlock on any issue on his end.

Referring to summoning of special session of state assembly on January 15, the chief minister said the Cabinet was within its right to cancel its earlier recommendation to the Governor TV Rajeswar to prorogue the House. He said the Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey had already issued notice to summon the House on January 15. Yadav said the alliance had been continuing and he would prove the majority on the floor of the House. He said session had been reconvened as some important legislative works had come up. Yadav said he had so far not received resignation letters of the RLD ministers.
