Nokia unveils 2 models with access to radio, net

Nokia's model 2310 will have a 'One Touch' facility to radio while Nokia 2610 will have the same facility for internet.

Nokia, global leader in mobile communications on Friday launched two entry level handsets in India targeted at business-minded consumers, with a first time functionality of a 'One Touch' feature to radio and internet.

The two models, Nokia 2310 priced at Rs 4,029 will have a 'One Touch' facility to radio, while Nokia 2610 priced at Rs 4,819 will have the same facility for internet.

"With the introduction of these stylish, feature-rich handsets, we have further strengthened our entry level product portfolio. Both the handsets offer a unique 'one touch' application to simplify the usage of radio and internet," Nokia India Marketing—Customer and Market Operations Director Devinder Kishore said.

The Nokia 2610, available in Blue, Black and Bronze colours, offers an 'offline mode' which enables you to access data without the SIM, e-mail support and mobile Internet access via a WAP browser, Voice Recorder and Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging for recording and sending voice messages.

The handset comes with a 'One Touch' key (short-cut key) that activates the built-in FM radio featuring 'sound visualisation' and graphics to sync with the music.
