Though the hills of the tiny Himalayan State of Sikkim have long been a favourite place for Bollywood directors to shoot movies, film directors from the South have stayed away from them. Now, the trend is set to change, for a South Indian production house is all set to film a movie there.

The bilingual film--Lemon--is a production of Maargabhandu Movies, a leading film company with its offices at Chennai and Hyderabad.

Sikkim Governor V Rama Rao inaugurated the film shooting at a function in the state capital Gangtok recently.

Talking about the project, producer-director MK Sai Mohan said, "This film is titled Lemon' and it is a bilingual film in Tamil and Telgu. This movie is based on terrorism and counter terrorism, mixed with the essential values of sentiments and love".

"The movie will be completed by April and we are planning to release it in the first week of May in Telgu and Tamil simultaneously. Thereafter, we will probably dub it in Hindi and other regional languages. Terrorism is an international subject, and so, the movie will be viable in all languages," he added.
