One injured as BJP, CPI workers clash in West Bengal

In a pre-poll clash, one BJP supporter was injured when its procession was attacked by the CPI(M) activists at a place near Balurghat in West Bengal's Dakshin Dinajpur district on Thursday night.

Superintendent of Police R Shibkumar said the injured has been rushed to the hospital.

Precautionary measures had been taken by the district administration to maintain law and order in the area, Shibkumar added.
