The heavy traffic on the Yamunanagar-Saharanpur national highway (NH-73) would not be allowed from 8 am to 8 pm from Friday till the completion of the reconstruction of the said stretch, an official release of the National Highways, Haryana, Public Works Department (roads and buildings) said on Thursday.
Stating that since the reconstruction work on the said stretch of NH-73 from near village Kalanaur had been started, the changes have been incurred with immediate effect.
The light vehicular traffic shall continue in daytime.
During night - from 8 pm to 2 am - only one-way traffic from Yamunanagar to Saharanpur would be allowed while from 2 am to 8 am, only one way traffic from Saharanpur to Yamunanagar would be allowed, the release said.
