ONGC to import Sakhalin oil in November

The oil and gas PSU will import the first cargo of crude oil from the Russian field in the second week of November.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will import the first cargo of crude oil from Sakhalin field in Russia in second week of November.

"The first parcel of 90,000 tonnes will be processed at our subsidiary MRPL," ONGC chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma told reporters here.

ONGC Videsh Ltd, the overseas arm of ONGC, has 20 per cent stake in the Sakhalin-1 field in Far-East Russia.
