The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld a law banning same-gender sex. The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community said they were now vulnerable to "discrimination and violence".

In a Hindustantimes.com poll conducted today, over 80% of the respondents answered in the negative, when asked whether they agree with the Supreme Court's order of criminalising homosexuality again.A total no of 10,800 votes were received. Out of which 16% of voters agreed with the verdict and 82% of them disagreed.
