Pakistan has refused to take a boy from Karachi, who was among the 39 civilians to be repatriated, saying that his identity had not been established.

Mohammad Zubair Sadiq of Karachi was returned from Wagah Border by Pakistani authorities on Saturday who claimed his identity had not been established, Panthers party chief Bhim Singh claimed on Sunday.

Zubair, who was lodged in Kot Balwal jail in Jammu had served his sentence for alleged terrorist activities after which the government had decided to release him.

Altogether 38 Pakistani civilians were sent back to their country as per an understanding reached between the two countries.
