Paradox of faith

To understand faith, you must know doubt. One can be skeptical to begin one's journey and because you would have gone through skepticism, faith will be strongly built.

To understand faith, you must know doubt. One can be skeptical to begin one's journey and because you would have gone through skepticism, faith will be strongly built. If you have complete faith, there are no questions. If you have no faith, there is no point in asking, because how will you have faith in the answer? If you have faith in God, when you know somebody is taking care of you, then what is the need to ask any question? If you have taken the Karnataka Express to Bangalore, is there a need to ask at every station, "Where is the train going?"

Faith cannot be blind. What you call blind is not faith –at least not yours. Blindness and faith cannot meet. It is when you lose faith that you become blind. Desires linger in your mind when you do not have faith. When you are thirsty then only the desire for water arises, but what will happen if you sit and think about water all day? What does desire mean? A lack of faith that I am going to get what I need. When your devotion is strongly rooted, Nature listens to you. Sankalp (intention) gets manifested with devotion.

If you think your faith in God is doing a favor to God, then you are mistaken. Your faith in God or Guru does nothing for the God or Guru. Faith is your wealth. It gives you strength instantly. Nature may put numerous hurdles on the way but you come out smilingly with an enormous strength that rises in you. This is just another way of Nature to strengthen faith. It brings you stability, calmness and love.
