ULFA 'commander-in-chief' Paresh Barua has warned of attacks on security personnel, police and intellectuals opposed to the outfit in Assam.

Barua, the only top leader of the outfit at large after the arrest of ULFA chairman Arabindo Rajkhowa, made the threat in an email to a local television channel.

It also said that 'informers' would be "punished".
