“The process for selecting candidates in some of the states has already started. While we have finalised candidates for the 32 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir, the process for finalising candidates is on for all the 62 seats of the Delhi assembly,” Paswan said while addressing a party rally in Dhanbad on Sunday.

The LJP chief also made it categorically clear that his party would have no truck with the RJD and BJP in Bihar and Jharkhand. “We will field candidates for all the seats in Jharkhand and Bihar,” he said.

Paswan, whom his party MP Surajbhan and several others projected as the next Prime Minister, exhorted his partymen to be prepared for the electoral challenges ahead even as he lashed out at his UPA partners supporting the Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand.
