Relatives of a 54-year-old patient who died seven days ago at Indo Gulf Hospital at Sector 19 ransacked the facility and manhandled the staff, police said.

According to doctors, JC Jain, a Noida authority official, died of cardiac arrest two days after being admitted on May 6. Jain's family members alleged that the patient died due to negligence by the hospital staff.

On Monday morning, some relatives of the deceased met a team of doctors. But soon after the meeting, they ransacked the hospital.
They broke glasses, telephones and LCD television at the reception area and staged a dharna outside the facility.
A hospital staff is also got injured during the protest.
